Dare: To Challenge (someone) to do something requiring boldness

A Dare to Remember is a campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation – engaging Canadians to raise funds for the inspiring transformation in sub-Saharan Africa, where community-based organizations are working to turn the tide of the AIDS pandemic.

In powerful acts of solidarity, Canadians across the country are facing their fears, letting their creative juices flow, testing their endurance and mobilizing their communities. They are ‘remembering’ and honouring Africans who take on extraordinary deeds every day to overcome the AIDS pandemic.

Canadians are raising funds and taking on dares that parallel the acts of courage, ingenuity, determination and strength in community exhibited by their African peers. They are joining the communities of people in Africa who are working to turn the tide of AIDS.

Dare to Remember those in Africa who turn the tide of AIDS through:

Acts of Courage
Ingenuity
Determination
Strength in Community

Do what you Dare to raise funds for community-based organizations in Africa working to turn the tide of AIDS.
